Double Elephant established itself as a joint venture in 1992 and has since stood the test of time. Initially, we were solely dedicated to the manufacture of synthetic PVC leather. In 1997, a subsidiary was opened which focuses its efforts on producing composite PU leather. Seven years after that, our microfiber leather factory was brought into operation. Since then, we have changed our name to the present-day Double Elephant Micro Fiber Material Co., Ltd. and become the first of its kind to produce microfiber leather, PU leather, and PVC leather at the same time. On April 29, 2010, our shares were listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol of 002395.

Standing at the forefront of Chinese synthetic leather industry, Double Elephant ranks second in terms of synthetic leather sales and market share. We are a one-stop source for artificial PVC leather, PU leather, and microfiber leather. Our manufacturing complex encompasses over 200,000 square meters of space.

At Double Elephant, we fully understand the importance of innovation and reform to our factory operations and management. That is why we should outfit the factory with advanced production equipment and a complement of inspection and testing instruments purchased from Germany and Austria. We also strictly adhere to ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards under which the company is certified. The modern facility allows us to produce 25 million square meters of synthetic PVC leather, 14 million square meters of composite PU leather, 3 million square meters of microfiber leather, and 10,000 tons of plastic film on an annual basis.

We are the only eligible manufacturer in Chinese synthetic leather business who undertakes the microfiber leather technology research project and get it done!
